True Story written by my coaching client Matt Brandt.

Hey!  My name is Matt Brandt.  And this is my story of how I went from a slave in my business wearing many hats to a true entrepreneur with an automated business in less than a month.

I started my fitness business last year Aug 1st.

My only goal at the time was to grow as fast as possible.  I worked from the moment I woke up until I went to bed on most days.  Even on the weekends.

I started the business so that I could spend more time with my family. And be a part of watching my kids grow up.

I didn’t want to be “that guy” who worked all the time and missed raising my kids.

But that’s not how it was going…

The more I grew.  The more I worked.

Hiring staff only came from absolute need.  But even with their help, I was still micromanaging.

I never gave my employees complete control over their position.  I couldn’t let go.

This past August, my business’s one year anniversary, I decided to take my family on a much needed vacation.

The set up was perfect.  My mom was coming with us to help with my 2 toddler daughters and help pay for the one week trip.

We went to Orlando, FL so we could go to Disney.  It was going to be an awesome time away.

Time with my family.  Time away from the business.  Things were looking good.

I had just finished a promo I ran in June.  So nothing major was planned while I was gone.

Perfect timing.

We arrived in Orlando Sunday afternoon to get my mom from the airport and go to her timeshare.

It was a relaxing evening.

Then Monday morning happened…

I woke up and looked at my business email inbox as I usually do.  And there was 2 cancellation requests.

Usually, I get them on the phone and figure out a way for them to stay.  But I couldn’t while I was away.

So I got on the phone with my admin and told her what to say to them.

When they responded, she texted me to see how to handle it next.

This back and forth went on all morning.  But finally it was handled for the most part.

The next morning, it happened all over again.  Emails from clients who “need” something from me.  And texts from my admin about how to handle it.

It was getting ridiculous.

My first one week vacation in 10 years.  And all the work for the past year that I needed a break from.

It wasn’t happening.

I got to the point where I turned off my email notifications and told my admin just to tell everyone to wait until I got back.

I spent the rest of the vacation TRYING to relax.  But thinking of what I need to do to get systems and automate my business.

So I messaged Jeff.

I got a call scheduled with Jeff for the week I got back.

He told me he that it wasn’t possible to do this depth of automation with occasional phone calls and email support.

I would need to do a full day coaching with him at HQ.

After running some numbers on the coaching, travel, and other expenses, it would cost about $7K.

And I didn’t have the money.

Not yet at least…

So I scrambled to put together a “back-to-school” 6 week promotion.  And launched it immediately.

After about $2K in FB ads for one week, I was able to get just above $8k.

Phew!

Wouldn’t pay for the entire trip, but it took care of most of it.

I was ready to go.

Then a week before heading out to Cali, I had a couple wisdom teeth taken out.

One was no problem.  But the other left the side of my mouth in extreme pain and swollen.

Even on immediate antibiotics, it still got infected.

I went back to the dentist the Monday before my trip (two days away).

He cleaned out the infection and put me on stronger antibiotics.

It didn’t get better in time.  But with a swollen face, eating soup and ice cream, and a bag full of meds, I went anyway.

It was great meeting Bedros, Josh Carter, and Jeff for the first time in person.

And Jeff pounded me with automation information.  Seeing the systems and how to implement them was giving me hope.

I could finally see that if I implemented what he gave me, I could have a fully automated business.

But it was up to me to actually DO it.

On my way back, I was already making calls with my staff to explain to them what we’re going to do.

Getting my trainers situated was a simple process.

But my assistant and I were meeting every day for the majority of the day going over the systems, spreadsheets, plans, etc.

Most of what I received was plug-n-play.  Some of it was things that needed to be specific to my business.

All these changes started at the very beginning of September.  And I’ve been on the grind to implement everything as quickly and effectively as I can.

By the end of the month, I went from micromanaging and doing most of everything to just marketing, sales, and content.

Every morning I wake up, my calendar is filled with calls already set for me.  Some to start an LBO, some to convert to monthly memberships.

Every time I got on the phone it was a money-making call.  In between calls, I can spend time on content creation and marketing.

Now, you may be thinking “well that’s not fully automated, Matt.”

And you’re partially correct.

I love the marketing aspect of owning my business, but I also have someone who does my FB ads  for me.  So I focus on creating offers and split testing funnels.

Love it!

And with sales, I have the systems ready to hand it over to my assistant.  But because I need to grow dramatically in a short amount of time, I’m holding onto that for now.

Come January next year, and all sales will be handed over to my assistant.  Who will then assume the role of gym manager.

Then it’s just content, branding, and marketing.  The fun stuff.

Things I can do from anywhere in the world.  Any days I choose.  And however many hours I choose to spend on it.

Because of this dramatic impact, It was great to see that Jeff is offering the information in a workshop format.

So it can be more cost efficient.  And help other fitness business owners do what I was able to do.

And here you are…

Your chance to get 10X more that what I got with all the bonuses they’re adding.  And at about half the cost.

This workshop is an absolute no brainer,

Matt Brandt
